Speaking News Reader
Select from hundreds of news feeds or enter the URL of any RSS feed. The feed directory lets you choose the news feed by category or by news source, and displays user submitted ratings on each feed.
Calendar events
The app connects to your iPhone calendar and reads out any events scheduled for the day. It also looks in your contacts and lets you know if it's anyones birthday.
Speech Actions
News Alarm lets you create a list of speech actions to perform when the alarm goes off. This includes reading news feeds and calendar events, but also custom phrases and speaking the time.
Customisable Clock Styles
Choose from 5 customisable clock styles, in analoge, digital and flip styles.
Alarms
Create any number of alarms that play a sequence of speech actions. Set the time and recurrence of each alarm, and listen to the alarm at any time.
Speech Synthesis
Using state-of-the-art voice synthesis, clear speech is provided by a choice of 4 voices. The voices available are US Male, US female, UK Male or UK female.

Crystal clear graphics is acheived on the iPhone 4 by fully supporting the high resolution Retina display.
